MacKenzie Smith is a new recruit to Lowell Fire District.  Having grown up with a father who served 17 years in the fire service, she was inspired.   Her younger brother Sam, has also pursued a career as a Firefighter/Paramedic.  Some of those years for her father and brother were here in Lowell Fire.  After persuing and completing a college degree in the veterinarian service.  She decided to do something different.  MacKenzie hopes to pursue a career as a Firefighter/EMT and possibly becoming a Paramedic like her brother has.  She grew up in Lowell and has watched the community grow and change.  MacKenzie not only feels a passion of carrying on a family tradition, but that serving and protecting our community is valuable.
