Paul is currently a resident firefighter with Lowell Fire District and started his firefighting career here in Lowell in 2020. Paul began as a cadet firefighter at 16 years old and has since become a full fledged firefighter, as well as becoming an EMT and then an EMT-Intermediate. Coming up on his five-year mark, Paul had served as a cadet from 2020-2022 before becoming a firefighter; obtaining an EMT license in 2022 through Lane Community College, Paul dedicated more of his learning to medicine before going back to Lane Community College and obtaining an EMT-Intermediate license in 2024. Paul has earned his Firefighter 1 and Apparatus Operator certification, as well as his instructor 1 certification.
